Cybersecurity Consultant

Consultant-level is a fully functioning subject matter expert experienced in all aspects of cybersecurity and/or IT systems. Considered at the top of their technical discipline. Typically designs, architects and develops approaches that are implemented by others. Serves as a mentor to lower-level professions. Functions independently and produces results that meet standards of quality, timeliness and acceptability with minimal supervision and general direction.

Essential Functions Expert in cyber specific functions that could entail any one of the following: Technical configuration, engineering, management and monitoring Risk analysis, corrective action planning, policy development Cyber threat monitoring, prevention, remediation and incident response Policy, procedure and guidance development Architectural design, standards and documentation Server administration and scripting Data compiling, analytics and reporting Cloud operations, cloud security and DevSecOps Automation principles and how they can be applied in IT environments Serves as a lead and consultant to other team members and resources on incident and task management work for the delivery of cybersecurity services Serves as the principal subject matter expert and key team lead for project delivery tasks Receives and responds to incoming calls, pages and/or e-mails. Schedules and performs improvements, upgrades and repairs as assigned. Operational and Incident Response teams participate in 24/7 on-call rotation or work in a swing/night shift rotation Ability to effectively prioritize/execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Critical thinking, Leadership, communication, mentor, strategic agility, active listening, professdional presence & judgement, accountablity, Cyber Security operations (expert) collaboration, strategic partnerships & influence, * Bachelor’s degree through an accredited institution, or an advanced cybersecurity certification such as the CISSP or SANS 700+ Series

• 9-10 years of related work experience
• Expert experience in cybersecurity technologies, systems and processes
• Expert Troubleshooting skills
• Expert skill in analysis, attention to detail, problem resolution, judgment, and decision-making
• Expert skill in communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, * Master’s degree through an accredited institution, or multiple advanced cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or SANS 700+ Series
• 7+ years of demonstrated Cyberark (Idira) experience
• Expert understanding of information security related regulations, such as HIPAA Privacy and Security, PCI-DSS,
• Expert knowledge of scripting and automation
• Expert understanding of information security related regulations

• Operate computers and other IT equipment requiring the ability to move fingers and hands.
• See and read computer monitors and documents.
• Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. $60.67 - $95.52
