Responsibilities

  • Maintain weekly compensation reporting workflows, including data validation, cross-checks, and distribution to key stakeholders.
  • Support compensation calculators and lookup tables through regular refresh cycles to ensure outputs reflect approved and current data.
  • Process and verify sensitive retention-related data submissions and manage uploads that feed downstream reporting and compensation tools.
  • Update reference mappings and implement configuration, pipeline, and logic enhancements as needed.
  • Help manage secure access to confidential compensation data by following approval steps and maintaining audit records.
  • Partner with data and BI engineers to design automated pipelines, scheduled processes, and self-service solutions in a cloud data warehouse environment.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manual work, improve reliability, and create long-term automated solutions.
  • Contribute to leadership-facing dashboards and reporting processes used on a weekly basis.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience working with data in Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, or similar environments.
  • Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and validating warehouse data.
  • Python scripting experience for automating data workflows and repetitive tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline development.
  • Experience using visualization tools such as QuickSight, Tableau, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to break down business needs into an analytical plan and deliver practical solutions.
  • Clear communication skills and comfort working with both technical and non-technical partners.
  • Strong attention to detail when handling confidential and business-critical information.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with statistical analysis tools or packages.
  • Background improving manual reporting processes through automation and self-service access.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based BI tools and AI-assisted insights capabilities.
  • Academic or professional experience in statistics, programming, or another quantitative field.
  • Experience supporting governance, auditability, or access controls for sensitive data.
