Network Engineer

Our client, an established Managed Services Provider (MSP), is seeking an experienced Software Defined Network (SDN) Engineer to design, implement, and support enterprise networking solutions across campus, WAN, data center, and cloud environments., * Design and deploy enterprise software-defined networking solutions across campus, WAN, data center, and cloud environments.

• Lead professional services projects involving Cisco networking, Software-Defined Access (SDA), SD-WAN, Cisco DNA Center, and ISE.
• Configure and support Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, and wired/wireless infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues, analyze performance, and recommend infrastructure improvements.
• Maintain network documentation and architecture diagrams for multiple clients.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support teams.

• 3+ years of hands-on Cisco networking experience or a relevant Computer Science degree.
• Proven experience with Cisco DNA Center and Software-Defined Access (SDA).
• Experience with software-defined networking technologies such as Cisco DNA and VMware NSX.
• Working knowledge of OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VXLAN, DMVPN, and SD-WAN.
• Strong understanding of switching, routing, firewalls, IP subnetting, network segmentation, and load balancing.
• Ability to manage multiple client projects and troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
• Strong communication, consulting, and customer-facing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cisco professional-level certification (CCNP or CCIE).
• VMware NSX-V / NSX-T implementation and micro segmentation experience.
• Experience supporting complex enterprise networks in an MSP or professional services environment.

Ideal Candidate: A hands-on Cisco networking engineer with demonstrated SDN deployment experience, particularly Cisco DNA Center and SDA, who can lead client projects, solve complex network problems, and mentor junior engineers.
