Director, Full-Stack Engineer

BNY is seeking Engineers who amplify team impact through technical leadership and forcemultiplier behaviors. • Build software with a reliabilityfirst mindset, incorporating secure coding practices, observability, testing, and disciplined rollout/rollback strategies.
• Ensure production systems meet required levels of resiliency, performance, scalability, and operability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience; advanced degree a plus.
• 14+ years of professional software development experience, with demonstrated depth in fullstack engineering and system / application architecture.
• Prior experience in securities, financial services, or modern engineering-first organizations is a plus.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and the design of RESTful and streamingbased APIs.
• Handson experience delivering cloudnative solutions, including microservices, containerization, and modern deployment patterns.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL and distributed data stores, selected and applied appropriately at scale.
• Experience leveraging AIenabled capabilities, including GenAI or MLdriven services, to enhance developer productivity, system intelligence, or customer outcomes, with a pragmatic understanding of responsible use, scalability, and integration into enterprise platforms.
