IT Support Specialist

We seek a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our IT Services team. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage support tickets directly with clients, resolve technical issues on-site or remotely, and assist with minor project tasks such as mounting equipment and pulling cables. This role is crucial in ensuring our clients receive timely and effective IT support to maintain their business operations. Requires frequent use of tact, discretion, and independent judgment; knowledge of corporate divisions, departments, and remote sites; and the interpretation and application of policies, procedures, and regulations., * Ticket Management:

• Receive calls, prioritize, and resolve support tickets promptly or dispatch them to the appropriate person.
• Document all support activities and solutions in the ticketing and ITSL systems.
• Technical Support:
• Provide first-touch technical support to clients via phone, email, or remote access.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, namely Windows desktops/laptops/servers, other network devices, and various peripherals such as imaging or printing.
• Project Assistance:
• Assist with minor IT projects, such as mounting hardware, pulling & terminating cables, and setting up newly pre-configured equipment as needed.
• Client Interaction:
• Maintain professional and courteous communication with clients.
• Simplify and educate clients on basic IT best practices and preventative measures.

• Installed, configured, troubleshot, and maintained various computer and network hardware including, but not limited to, desktops, laptops, servers, kiosks, printers, wireless access points, switches, mobile devices, camera systems, peripherals, etc.
• The ability to act independently during the course of work. This includes being able to self-start work on a ticket and recognize when escalation or further support is required and act on this judgment.
• Knowledge of corporate divisions, departments, and remote sites; and the interpretation and application of policies, procedures, and regulations such as PHI/HIPAA which those remote sites are required to uphold.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Gsuite, and basic email systems administration., * AA or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in IT or a related Customer Service industry
• Network +, A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional, or associated certificates., * Help desk: 1 year (Preferred)
• Windows: 1 year (Preferred)
