Lead Solutions Engineer (P&C insurance)

Are you a seasoned technical leader with deep Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain expertise who thrives at the intersection of complex solution design, modern cloud architectures, and enterprise integration?, Operating with a fast-paced “startup agility backed by enterprise scale” mentality, you will lead modernizations across core P&C functions-including underwriting, claims, policy administration, and billing. You will partner closely with architecture, security, and infrastructure teams to resolve complex delivery obstacles, eliminate technical debt, and ensure our platforms are secure, scalable, and built for long-term growth.

• 8+ Years of Professional Engineering Experience: Demonstrated track record in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical leadership across complex, multi-system environments.
• Active P&C Insurance Industry Experience: Deep, current domain knowledge across the entire P&C lifecycle-including Underwriting, Claims, Policy Administration, and Billing. Candidates must currently operate within an insurance company environment.
• API & Cloud Architecture Mastery: Proven hands-on experience designing, building, and securing modern API-driven workflows and cloud-native solutions.
• Breadth of System Engineering Expertise: Experience spanning end-to-end system architecture, solution design, technical design standards, and hands-on software development best practices.
• Core Application Fundamentals: Strong expertise in application security, performance optimization, system scalability, and multi-tenant application design.
• Agile & High-Growth Adaptability: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve rapidly and proactive technical leadership is essential.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

• Core P&C Platform Familiarity: Direct experience with Guidewire (specifically Guidewire Cloud) or similar P&C platforms such as Duck Creek, Insurity, Sapiens, or Majesco.
• Enterprise Communications & Content Management: Exposure to Enterprise Content Management (ECM) migration strategies or Customer Communications Management tools (e.g., SmartCOMM, Oracle Documaker).
• Enterprise Systems Exposure: Working knowledge of modern enterprise platforms such as Workday HRIS.

Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
