Backend Software Engineer (HYBRID)

Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

This role supports the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of backend software solutions., * Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Conduct design and code reviews.
• Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
• Utilize Jira and Confluence.
• Utilize Git for software development.
• Develop software using Java, C++, and/or Python.
• Work with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL.

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• Twenty (20) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• Four (4) years of additional Software Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Experience using Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience with Java, C++, and/or Python.
• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL.
