IT Equipment Technician

Seeking Technical Dress Rehearsal (TDR) Testers to support go-live readiness for a large-scale healthcare system implementation. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates and entry-level IT professionals to gain hands-on experience with healthcare technology. No prior Epic experience or certifications are required, and full training will be provided., * Complete onboarding, system access setup, and TDR training.

• Test workstations and peripheral devices, including printers, scanners, and label printers, using standardized test scripts.
• Document test results, failures, and issues accurately in designated tracking tools.
• Escalate technical issues to the appropriate teams for resolution.
• Retest devices after fixes and track issues through resolution.
• Support testing activities from December 2026 through April 2027, including final go-live readiness handoff.
• Work professionally in active clinical and patient care environments.

• Strong computer troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work on-site and travel between assigned Mayo Clinic Health System locations.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move between departments for extended periods., * Degree or coursework in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Windows workstations and common peripherals.
• Experience in healthcare or a customer-facing environment.

Important: Pilot testing begins in November 2026, followed by production testing from December 2026 through April 2027.
