  • Administer and improve the firm’s practice management, document management,

  • Audit how the firm uses its technology. Identify inconsistent practices, unused features,

duplicate work, access concerns, and opportunities to improve efficiency.

  • Maintain device inventories, software licenses, subscriptions, vendor records, and

documentation of system configurations and procedures.

  • Review user permissions, sharing settings, multifactor authentication, software updates,

and other safeguards for confidential client and firm information.

  • Coordinate backups, recovery testing, outage response, and security incident response

with leadership and outside specialists.

  • Support the technical aspects of legal workflows, including matter organization,

  • Evaluate proposed automations and AI tools with leadership, including their usefulness,

  • Create clear instructions and train employees so technology changes become consistent

  • Clear communication skills and a patient, service-oriented approach to supporting

  • Strong organization, follow-through, and the ability to document processes others can

reliably use.

  • Experience using Artificial Intelligence, such as: ChatGPT, Claude, etc.
