Job description

  • Design, build, test, and deploy robust, scalable features across the entire application stack.
  • Architect and maintain efficient Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) layers using GraphQL (Apollo Server) to aggregate data from core microservices.
  • Build highly responsive, reusable, and accessible web components using React and TypeScript, ensuring exceptional user experiences.
  • Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks across the stack, from optimizing complex database queries.
  • Partner closely with product managers, designers, and mobile teams to define technical requirements and establish clean schema contracts.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade web applications.
  • Strong proficiency in Node.js and structured frameworks, specifically NestJS.
  • Solid understanding of database design (SQL/NoSQL) and caching strategies.
  • Deep hands-on experience with GraphQL, Apollo Server, and Apollo Client, including a strong grasp of schema design and data aggregation patterns.
  • Advanced knowledge of React.js, TypeScript, modern CSS (e.g., Tailwind, Styled Components), and state management libraries.
  • Proven track record of thriving in a small, fast-paced team environment where self-direction, adaptability, and clear communication are vital.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) is a major plus.
