Job description

You will act as the technical expert for client-facing engagements, designing and delivering scalable data architectures on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your role will involve bridging the gap between complex business challenges and high-performance solutions that drive innovation and decision-making. This position is a technical pre-sales and advisory role in which you will collaborate with sales teams to guide enterprise clients through the cloud adoption process. In this role, you will design data architectures, build custom technical prototypes, and advocate for products such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.

  • Lead technical discovery and needs assessments to solve complex data challenges.
  • Design and deploy scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and lakes using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
  • Manage RFPs, proof-of-concept initiatives, and customized product demonstrations.
  • Present technical cloud solutions to both developers and executive stakeholders.
  • Optimize architectures for cost-efficiency, security, and maximum performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience deploying data solutions on GCP with strong SQL and ETL/ELT skills.
  • GCP Professional Data Engineer or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, visualization (Looker), or AI/ML technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated pre-sales background collaborating with sales teams and external executive leadership.

Benefits & conditions

  • Growth: Ongoing investment in training and certifications for elite Google Cloud projects.
  • Collaboration: Direct engagement with Google teams on strategic analytics initiatives.
  • Culture: A trust-based environment with flexible remote work options and premium equipment.
  • Security: Comprehensive health coverage, competitive compensation, and paid time off.
