TSSCI Information System Security Engineer (ISSE)...

A client near Kirtland AFB, NM is looking for a TSSCI Information System Security Engineer II to join their existing program. This candidate will primarily function within Special Access Programs (SAP) supporting several different DoD agencies. This role will support day-to-day activities within these Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Programs. The role of the ISSE III is to provide oversight of the development, implementation and evaluation of information system security program policy with a special emphasis on the integration of existing SAP network infrastructures. This candidate will have experience performing analysis of network security based on RMF and JSIG authorization processes, they will provide expert level support, research and analysis of complex security problems, and they will provide consultative and advising services to both the architects/system developers and the Cybersecurity Assessment Program - providing technical direction. The ISSE III will also lead a team of System Security Engineers and Certification/Accreditation Analysts. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience work within Information System Security and have experience leading a team. Previously holding one of the following titles is strongly preferred - ISSO, ISSM, SCA, or SAP IT Technical Director.

Pay Rate: $86.43/hr

Active TSSCI Clearance

• Masters Degree or 6 yrs equivalent experience

• 15+ years of experience in IA or Information System Security Engineering developing, implementing and evaluating information system security policy

• Experience evaluating information system security policy and integrating existing DoD or SAP network infrastructures

• Experience performing analysis of network security based upon RMF policies and JSIG authorization processes

• Experience reviewing ISSE related designs and providing security compliance recommendations.

• Experience working closely with development teams - advising architects/system developers in identification and implementation of information security functionality

• Experience leading a team

• DoD 8570.01-M IAAE Level III w/in 6 mo’s of hire - CI Poly Clearance

• Previous SAP experience

• DoD 8570.01-M IAAE Level III
