Web Developer

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and MySQL.
• Develop custom functionality, API integrations, and database-driven solutions while troubleshooting website, hosting, and application issues.
• Configure, manage, and maintain VPS hosting environments, ensuring website security, reliability, performance, and compliance with web standards.
• Lead client-facing development discussions, gather requirements, define project scopes, and coordinate timelines, approvals, testing, and website launches.
• Establish development standards, workflows, and best practices while collaborating with design and marketing teams to improve website functionality, SEO, and user experience.

• Minimum 3 years of professional WordPress and PHP development experience, with 5+ years preferred.
• Proven experience developing custom WordPress themes, plugins, custom post types, and website functionality.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL, and related web development technologies.
• Hands-on experience managing VPS servers and hosting environments such as GoDaddy, AWS, or similar platforms.
• Experience with API integrations, website troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of website security, SSL certificates, firewalls, malware prevention, SEO principles, and Core Web Vitals.
• Strong client communication and project coordination skills, including gathering requirements, managing deliverables, and supporting website launches.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, establish development processes, and contribute to the growth of a web development department.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year, * 401(k)
