Job description

Our Expert Services team is seeking a Senior Technical Architect to own project delivery and technical solutioning across a portfolio of customer projects. Depending on what each engagement calls for, you’ll lead end to end delivery, take on deep technical architecture and integration work, or both, so customers get the right blend of program management and technical depth for their specific needs. This individual will work under Braze’s Expert Services department as someone who can move naturally between delivery and technical ownership cohesively, rather than desire to stay in a single lane.

You will work alongside Account Executives, Customer Success Managers, Delivery Managers, and Technical Architects to ensure customers achieve rapid time to value and optimal ROI from their Braze investment.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the execution of customer implementation engagements end to end, from onboarding through go live, and serve as the deep technical resource designing integrations and solutions, depending on what a given engagement needs.
  • Design and implement technical solutions, including SDK and API integrations, while managing timeline, scope, and stakeholder alignment for a project.
  • Engage with customer stakeholders, from senior staff to Braze end users, to understand business and technical goals and build credible relationships across the account.
  • Monitor progress and proactively resolve roadblocks, whether they are project risks or technical blockers, to keep engagements on time and technically sound.
  • Act as the technical conduit between Braze and the customer’s product and engineering teams, translating requirements into actionable technical plans when technical ownership is called for.
  • Document stakeholder roles, technical requirements, and integration details to support a smooth handoff to the Customer Success Manager team after project completion.
  • Coordinate with the customer’s agencies and third parties to keep external partners aligned with the project’s goals and timeline.
  • Drive early adoption, set KPIs and success metrics, and apply best practices that help customers realize fast time to value.
  • Advocate customer use cases to product development, and stay current on Braze’s platform capabilities, including technical enablement such as Decisioning Studio training.
  • Continually improve delivery and technical processes, and deliver enablement training and workshops tailored to each customer.
  • Maintain the organizational and communication discipline expected of a Delivery Manager alongside the technical depth expected of a Technical Architect, since either can be called on depending on the project you’re staffed to.

Requirements

  • You’ve built your career at the intersection of people and technology, comfortably managing a project timeline one day and getting hands-on with an integration the next.
  • Demonstrated interest or hands on experience with technical concepts such as SaaS, Mobile, APIs, Marketing Automation, Analytics, or programming (HTML, etc.), sufficient to own SDK/API integration workstreams directly rather than only coordinate them.
  • Highly organized and reliable, with a continuous improvement mindset and the discipline to keep project tracking consistently up to date.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills, comfortable diagnosing both project and technical issues and driving them to resolution.
  • A natural collaborator who can manage conflicting priorities, motivate stakeholders, and thrive in a fast paced, cross functional environment.
  • Strong listening and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences via video calls, workshops, and written communication.
  • Comfortable building with AI tools to accelerate workstreams and improve efficiency in day to day work., * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • 2 to 5 years in a similar customer facing role, preferably in implementations, technical consulting, or customer success, with a track record spanning both project delivery and hands-on technical work.
  • Strong project management skills paired with genuine technical depth in APIs, SDKs, or related integration work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
