Solution Design Engineer

• Ability to develop excellent client relationships and earn their trust though superior problem solving and hard work.
• Close major system sales through a “top down” consultative selling approach. Beat our competition by providing the best solutions in the industry. . Become a thought leader in distribution systems and automation.
• Assist in pursuing new clients for consulting services.
• Coordinate with specific resources (software engineers, controls engineers, CAD / Simulation Engineers, etc.) to prepare reports and proposals.
• Continue to enhance and refine the tools / methodologies we use.
• Maintain your education on a wide variety of material handling automation and simulation software areas.
• Provide excellent analysis of customer’s operational data used to design superior processes and systems. . Provide computer simulation modeling of proposed material handling systems.
• Build confidence with clients when making formal presentations.

Travel Requirements:

• 20% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Toyota Automated Logistics)

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Experience with data analysis tools (PowerBI, Alteryx, SQL) preferred.
• Understanding of supply chains and distribution or manufacturing systems is a plus . Experience with computer simulation (FlexSim, Demo3D, Arena, etc.) a plus;
• Strong communication skills
• Must be eligible to work in the US without need of sponsorship
