We are seeking an experienced Lead Security Systems Solutions Engineer to provide technical leadership for an enterprise physical security technology environment. This role will oversee system architecture, integrations, emerging technology evaluations, and project delivery from initial intake through implementation.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on expertise in enterprise physical security systems with strong architectural, project management, and stakeholder collaboration skills. This individual will establish technical standards, manage project priorities, mentor engineers, and ensure security technologies remain scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.

This is an onsite contract opportunity in Los Angeles for a technical leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple complex initiatives independently., * Lead the architecture, design, and integration of enterprise physical security systems.

• Evaluate emerging technologies, develop proofs of concept (PoCs), and recommend technical solutions.
• Establish technical standards, architectural patterns, and security and data protection requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for access control, video management systems (VMS), visitor management, and security analytics.
• Provide technical guidance for complex escalations, troubleshooting, and system performance issues.
• Manage project intake, prioritization, discovery, scoping, and implementation planning.
• Coordinate project assignments, balance workloads, mentor engineers, and oversee delivery across multiple initiatives.
• Maintain project roadmaps, track milestones and dependencies, and communicate progress and risks to leadership.
• Design and maintain integrations between security platforms, legacy systems, and enterprise applications.
• Develop ETL workflows to transform security data into actionable business intelligence.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Lead system upgrades, enhancements, migrations, maintenance, and root cause analysis.

• 8+ years of experience administering, programming, and integrating enterprise physical security systems across multiple sites.
• 3+ years in technical architecture or leadership.
• Hands-on experience with access control, video management systems (VMS), and visitor management platforms.
• Proven experience managing projects from intake and scoping through implementation and delivery.
• Experience with system integrations, troubleshooting, proofs of concept, and technology evaluations.
• Strong technical leadership, mentoring, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Genetec Synergis SC-STC-001 and/or SC-ETC-001 certification.
• Experience in studio production, entertainment, or technology environments.
• Familiarity with cloud-based video analytics, AI-driven security tools, ETL workflows, and automation.
