Cloud Engineer

The Cloud Platform Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure environments. This role serves as a technical leader in cloud platform engineering, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and cloud governance best practices to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available services. The engineer works closely with development, security, networking, and operations teams to standardize deployments, improve operational efficiency, and integrate ServiceNow into cloud workflows., · Design, deploy, and maintain AWS and Azure cloud infrastructure.

· Administer and optimize Terraform Enterprise workspaces, modules, and policy enforcement.

· Design, build, and support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.

· Implement cloud security, governance, IAM, encryption, and compliance controls.

· Integrate cloud platforms, Terraform Enterprise, and deployment pipelines with ServiceNow workflows.

· Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and support incident response.

· Develop automation using Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting languages.

· Create technical documentation, operational runbooks, and architecture diagrams.

· 5+ years of cloud engineering or platform engineering experience.

· Hands-on AWS and Azure experience in enterprise environments.

· Advanced Terraform Enterprise experience.

· Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines.

· Experience with ServiceNow integrations and ITSM workflows.

· Strong cloud networking, security, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
• Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• AWS, Azure, and Terraform certifications.
• Experience leveraging AI and generative AI technologies to enhance cloud operations, automation, observability, incident response, and developer productivity.
• Experience integrating AI services such as Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock, Copilot, or machine learning platforms into enterprise cloud solutions and operational workflows., * How many years of experience do you have with Terraform?

Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
