Job description
- Provide 24x7 database support, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Manage database performance, backups, recovery, patching, upgrades, and migrations.
- Support database replication, Data Guard, GoldenGate, disaster recovery, failover, and switchover activities.
- Monitor database health, availability, alerts, and performance using Oracle OEM, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Automate DBA tasks using Shell, Python, and PowerShell scripting.
- Support database security, user access, encryption, and operational improvements.
Requirements
Database Administration, Oracle DBA (Database Administrator), Database Administration, Public Cloud, Production Support, Root Cause Analysis, Incident Management, Identify Issues, Software Patches, Data Recovery, Seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with strong Oracle DBA expertise and experience supporting production databases in public cloud environments., * Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, YugabyteDB, Aurora PostgreSQL/MySQL, and Spanner.
- Cloud: AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Tools: Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Docker, Kubernetes.
- Monitoring: Oracle OEM, Grafana, Prometheus.
- Operating Systems: Linux/Unix and Windows.
- Strong experience in Oracle DBA, database performance tuning, backup/recovery, and production support.
