Job description

We are looking for an experienced Hadoop Administrator with strong expertise in managing and supporting Hadoop clusters. The candidate should have hands-on experience with Hadoop ecosystem components and be responsible for cluster administration, monitoring, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and security management., Administer and maintain Hadoop clustersMonitor cluster health and performancePerform upgrades, patching, and troubleshootingManage Hadoop security and user accessSupport Data Engineering and Analytics teamsEnsure high availability and optimal cluster performance

Requirements

Do you have experience in Unix support?, 8+ years of Hadoop Administration experienceStrong experience with HDFS, YARN, Hive, and SparkExperience with Cloudera (CDP/CDH) or Hortonworks (HDP)Linux/Unix administration experienceKnowledge of Hadoop security (Kerberos, Ranger)Experience with cluster monitoring and performance tuningStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, Experience with Kafka, Sqoop, Oozie, or HBaseCloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
