Job description

Seeking experienced professionals with a background in data center telecommunications, fiber infrastructure, structured cabling, network deployment, and construction project management. This role is ideal for candidates who have managed connectivity projects within hyperscale, colocation, or large enterprise data center environments.

Per diem is offered when traveling, and compensation is competitive based on location, experience, and overall fit.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead data center connectivity projects from planning through deployment
  • Manage ISP/OSP fiber infrastructure and structured cabling installations
  • Oversee network equipment deployments including routers, switches, and related infrastructure
  • Coordinate vendors, contractors, and field teams across multiple project sites
  • Perform QA/QC inspections and ensure installation quality standards are met
  • Track project schedules, milestones, budgets, and risks
  • Support construction and commissioning activities within active data center environments
  • Drive a “right first time” culture while maintaining safety and quality standards

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vendor relationship management?, * 5+ years of project management experience

  • 5+ years of data center telecommunications, networking, or connectivity experience
  • Experience with fiber optic infrastructure, testing, and deployment
  • Strong knowledge of ISP/OSP environments and structured cabling systems
  • Vendor management and field coordination experience
  • Experience performing QA/QC inspections and site audits
  • Proficiency with MS Project and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, * Hyperscale or colocation data center experience
  • Primavera P6 experience
  • Network deployment and commissioning experience
  • Data center construction experience
  • Design-build project experience
  • Experience managing projects ranging from several hundred thousand dollars to multi-million-dollar deployments
