Senior Software Engineer, Mobile Applications (.NET MAUI/Xamarin)

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in cross-platform mobile application development and enterprise backend services. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining production-grade Android and iOS applications using .NET MAUI while building scalable backend services using ASP.NET Core.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience delivering enterprise software throughout the full software development lifecycle. This individual will partner closely with Product, Quality Engineering, Architecture, Cloud Engineering, and Operations teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing healthcare technology solutions., * Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI for Android and iOS.

• Support and modernize existing Xamarin.Forms applications, including migration efforts to .NET MAUI.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain secure RESTful APIs and backend services using ASP.NET Core.
• Own software features and components from technical design through deployment and production support.
• Implement software solutions using MVVM, Clean Architecture, SOLID principles, and modern engineering best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, startup times, and memory utilization.
• Develop and support offline-first capabilities, local data storage, synchronization services, and secure authentication mechanisms.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable code supported by automated testing practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and architecture decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues through debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate across Product Management, Quality Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Operations teams.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Agile software delivery processes.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering excellence through knowledge sharing and best practices.

• Experience with asynchronous programming, multithreading, and application performance optimization.
• Experience with source control and software delivery tools such as Git and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with automated testing, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments., * Experience with Entity Framework Core.
• Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and cloud-based architectures.
