Job description
Seeking an experienced Oracle Linux Systems Administrator to manage, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot enterprise Unix/Linux infrastructure, including servers, storage, and high-availability environments., * Install, configure, patch, secure, and maintain Oracle Linux/Unix systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and support high availability.
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, and recovery testing.
- Support Oracle Exadata, ASM, SAN, OCFS, WebLogic, and Oracle RDBMS environments.
- Perform shell scripting, system monitoring, and network troubleshooting.
Requirements
- 6-8 years of Unix/Linux administration experience preferred, with strong Oracle Linux expertise.
- Experience with LDOMs, ZFS, Zones, shell scripting, and networking protocols.
- Knowledge of Symantec NetBackup, Veeam, and disaster recovery.
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to provide after-hours and weekend support as needed, * Are you comfortable working onsite in NYC (10038)
- Do you have experience with Oracle Exadata and high-availability environments?
- Do you have hands-on experience administering Oracle Linux in an enterprise environment?
