Valence Care is a family of CHHA and LHCSA home healthcare agencies serving New York City’s five boroughs, Long Island, Rockland, and Westchester counties. In this role, you’ll work closely with business leaders and teams across the organization to analyze data, improve processes, automate reporting, and uncover opportunities to make a real impact. If you have strong SQL and Python skills, enjoy tackling challenging business problems, and want to see your work make a difference, we’d love to hear from you! What You’ll Do

  • Monitor data quality, investigate discrepancies, and help ensure reporting is accurate and reliable.
  • Identify ways to improve efficiency through better analytics, reporting, and automation.
  • Document solutions and follow best practices for development, testing, and source control.
  • Share your knowledge, mentor junior analysts, and help strengthen the team’s analytics capabilities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong hands-on Python experience, including data analysis, automation, and developing reliable solutions for ongoing business use.
  • Proficiency with Power BI or comparable business intelligence and reporting tools.
  • Experience with Snowflake or another cloud-based data platform.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and structured data formats such as JSON, CSV, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and workflow automation.
  • Familiarity with Git or similar source-control tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to take ownership of a business challenge, from gathering requirements and analyzing data to implementing a practical solution.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical findings in a clear, meaningful way to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
