Data Center Network Engineer :: EVPN-VXLAN & Leaf-Spine, Juniper QFX, Infoblox DDI, BGP Routing

Designing, configuring, and supporting the DNS, DHCP, IPAM & NTP needs of enterprise customers.

• Strong experience with Leaf-Spine architectures
• EVPN-VXLAN design, deployment, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of underlay/overlay networking, EVPN Type 2 and Type 5 routes, and IP Fabric design
• Experience operating in large-scale enterprise data center environments

Why it’s #1: This is the core of the role. The majority of the requirements revolve around modern data center network architecture and EVPN-VXLAN technologies.

1. Juniper Switching Expertise (QFX Series)

• Hands-on experience with Juniper QFX 5120/5130 switches
• Configuration, upgrades, migrations, and troubleshooting
• Juniper certifications (JNCIA/JNCIP-DC) are a plus
• Experience with Arista switching is also valuable

Why it’s #2: The hiring manager is clearly looking for someone who can jump into a Juniper-based environment and support complex switching infrastructure with minimal ramp-up.

1. DDI Services & Routing Protocols

• Infoblox DNS, DHCP, IPAM (DDI) administration and design
• Strong BGP routing knowledge
• NTP, IPv4/IPv6, BFD, port-channel configuration and troubleshooting
• Experience supporting enterprise network services and resolving complex network issues

Why it’s #3: While the network architecture is critical, the role specifically calls out ownership of DDI services and deep routing expertise, making this a key differentiator., Develop architecture and design specifications for core features and components of the Infoblox DDI core infrastructure Experience of Working on Juniper and Arista Hardware switches . Experience of working in the data center network environment Strong experience in Leaf & Spine architecture Should be able to assist in resolving any issues encountered due to hw/sw/config/design issues. Good experience in Juniper QFX 5120/5130 series of switches Assist in network & equipment problem troubleshooting Ethernet VPN-Virtual Extensible LAN (EVPN-VXLAN) architecture knowledge Good Understanding of EVPN type routes and EVPN Type 2 and Type 5 Route Coexistence implementation Proficiency in BGP routing protocols Strong understanding of underlay and overlay architecture Understanding of overlay services Experience in upgrade and migration of core switches Strong experience in troubleshooting Good documentation and process experience Port channel configuration and troubleshooting experience IP Fabric and BFD experience IPv6 experience is added plus .

Education and Experience requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in network design, deployment and implementation in IT networks and network security
• Juniper certifications will be added Plus ( JNCIP/JNCIA -DC)

Should be flexible to work in 24*7 rotational shifts. Candidates must be willing to shift work hours to support partner peer in APJ or EMEA. Some overlap coverage for passdown.
