Job description

• Responsible for coordinating projects; collecting and analyzing data; reviewing technical documents; compiling project statistics and related information; writing narratives and reports; managing the execution of inspection programs; and creating, monitoring, and maintaining compliance files and records.
• Work with a team of mechanical designers to support various Department of Defense (DoD) programs using 2D and 3D computer-aided design (CAD) software to translate requirements into component- and system-level designs.
• Provide support for design reviews and the development of assembly drawings.
• Assist with drawing checks for parts and assemblies in support of initial release and design revisions.
• Ad-hoc support as required.

Requirements

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited* college/university and 9 years of experience analyzing results of tests, assisting in ensuring data integrity and quality providing statistical analysis and presenting findings to team members and management; or an Associate’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited* college/university and 11 years of applicable experience; or 13 years of applicable experience; or 13 years of applicable military experience performing engineering, analysis, and related functions in research, development, test and evaluation in support of military equipment and systems.
