Job description

  • Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking
  • Walk customers through installing applications and computer peripherals
  • Ask targeted questions to diagnose problems
  • Guide users with simple, step-by-step instructions
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting
  • Test alternative pathways until you resolve an issue
  • Customize desktop applications to meet user needs
  • Record technical issues and solutions in logs
  • Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
  • Follow up with clients to ensure their systems are functional
  • Report customer feedback and potential product requests
  • Help create technical documentation and manuals

Requirements

Do you have experience in Desktop computer repair?, Well known & prestigious medical facility located in Brooklyn is seeking highly motivated, qualified & experienced Computer Desktop Support Technicians to join their internal IT department team during normal business hours, Mon - Fri during normal business hours. Candidates must have knowledge & experience supporting normal end-user desktop hardware/software support issues in the corporate environment. Qualified candidates must be willing to accept an initial 2-week paid trial period to prove themselves interested & qualified. This is an excellent opportunity for the right individual who is vaccinated with no end date and competitive compensation in place.   • Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments

  • Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear instructions
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills
  • Customer-oriented attitude
