Medical Assistant or Addiction Recovery Technician NOC SHIFT for DETOX

Demonstrate a sense of urgency related to the importance of patient safety and provide excellent client care

• Ensure the well-being of clients and provide a positive, supportive and structured environment.
• Provide supervision of 6-8 treatment residents and support the daytime and clinical team.
• Document timely, accurate and appropriate clinical information in client’s medical record.
• Assist in providing a safe, secure and comfortable environment for client’s
• Interact routinely with clients. Medication observation and document behaviors and communicate significant observations to clinical and medical team.
• Complete and maintain required documentation. Assist with follow-up and paperwork as required on incidents and events that may take place in the facility.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards clients always. Communicate any and all concerns to supervisor.
• Individuals must be comfortable working in a DRUG and Alcohol FREE workplace

Do you have a valid CNA license?, Do you have experience in Record keeping?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school diploma required

• Detail oriented in both observation and application
• Team-oriented personality, abilities, and willingness
• Experience working in a residential home health care environment
• Experience working with adiction and recovery
• Medical Assistant, CNA or Behavioral Health Tech such as RADT, * Organizational skills - proficient
• Relational-people skills - excellent
• Telephone communication skills - excellent
• Computer - MS (Word & Excel) and experience with electronic record keeping - proficient
• Familiarity with Drug and Alcohol detox preferred

LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:

• CPR and First Aid
• RADT certification
• Medical Assistant
• CNA, * addiction recovery : 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CNA, Medical Assistant or RADT (Required)

Ability to Commute:
