AI Software Developer

Panha Solutions is seeking an AI Software Developer to design, build, test, and maintain software applications that incorporate artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities. The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals with an interest in intelligent automation, AI-powered applications, and data-driven solutions.

In this role, you will develop application features, integrate AI models and services, build reliable APIs, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver secure, scalable software that meets business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain AI-enabled software applications.
• Build application components using Python, JavaScript, or other suitable programming languages.
• Integrate AI models, large language model APIs, and machine learning services into software applications.
• Develop REST APIs and back-end services to support AI-powered functionality.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to support application features.
• Implement prompt workflows, model integrations, and automated processing where appropriate.
• Evaluate application outputs and help improve reliability, accuracy, and response quality.
• Develop automated tests and troubleshoot software defects.
• Collaborate with software engineers, data specialists, and project stakeholders.
• Apply security, privacy, and data-handling best practices when working with AI services.
• Monitor application performance and optimize reliability and scalability.
• Maintain technical documentation, code repositories, and deployment procedures.

• Proficiency in Python or another modern programming language.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, databases, and back-end application development.
• Understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
• Experience using Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with debugging, automated testing, and software maintenance.
• Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts and collaborate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience integrating AI models or third-party AI APIs into applications.
• Familiarity with machine learning libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or scikit-learn.
• Knowledge of large language models, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and vector databases.
• Experience with cloud services, containers, and CI/CD workflows.
• Understanding of AI evaluation, model limitations, and responsible AI development.
• Familiarity with data processing pipelines and application monitoring.

• Suggested annual salary: $90,000-$125,000, subject to employer confirmation.
• Final compensation may depend on software engineering experience, AI expertise, and job responsibilities.
