BI Report Writer Analyst

• Responsible for the design and development of EMR (Epic Clarity) environment.
• Writes adhoc queries and reports using various reporting/database tools to support BMG clinical initiatives.
• Analyzes and synthesizes complex and diverse information gathered from senior management and end users to develop new reports and reporting systems as needed.
• Design, develop and implement complex dashboard reports and visualizations for data warehouse and clarity.
• Responsible for the development and support of strategies for warehouse implementation, data acquisitions and archive recovery.
• Responsible for SQL queries and modifications to facilitate problem resolution and reporting needs.
• Assist in the monitoring of overall group operational and financial performance.
• Will participate in worksite safety training programs.
• Will comply with all Group policies and procedures, including mandatory annual in-services
• Complies with BMG Corporate Compliance Policy and HIPAA regulations.
• Other tasks as assigned/required., The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. A valid driver’s license and transportation to various offices/locations is required.

SUMMARY: This position is responsible for report development, writing and analytical review, to aid senior management., Minimum of 4-year bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business Administration (concentration in Accounting, Finance, MIS or related field), or Applied Math. At least one year programming / report-writing experience with SQL and Crystal Reports a must, along with excellent Excel skills. Must have proficient personal computer skills (Microsoft Office). Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision. Experience with EMR and/or the healthcare industry is a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to management, physicians, and/or other group employees.

REASONING ABILITY:

WORK SCHEDULE AND LOCATION: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm at 325 Essjay Road in Williamsville, NY (in office position)

Pay: $62,353.20 - $89,637.60 per year, * 401(k)
