Job description

PDM is seeking a detail-driven, hands-on Master Data Manager to own the accuracy, consistency, and governance of the company’s core business data. As PDM implements Microsoft Dynamics across both CRM and ERP, this individual will define our data standards, lead data cleansing and migration, and serve as the steward of customer, vendor, item, and financial master data across both platforms. You will be instrumental in ensuring that Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance work from a single, trusted source of truth as the business scales., Master Data Governance & Standards

· Establish and own PDM’s master data governance framework, including data ownership, standards, naming conventions, and approval workflows for customer, vendor, item, bill of materials (BOM), pricing, and chart of accounts data.

· Define and document the policies and standard operating procedures for creating, changing, and retiring master data records.

· Own master data governance and integrity across Microsoft Dynamics CRM and ERP, partnering with functional system owners to maintain consistent data standards across integrated platforms, including HubSpot.

ERP & CRM Implementation Support

· Partner with the implementation team and system integrator to lead data cleansing, mapping, validation, and migration from legacy systems and spreadsheets into Microsoft Dynamics and HubSpot.

· Partner with Marketing’s HubSpot platform owner to define data mapping, synchronization requirements, and integration standards between HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics CRM, ensuring accurate and consistent lead, contact, and account data

· Align data structures between CRM tools (Dynamics CRM and HubSpot) and ERP so records flow cleanly from quote through order, production, delivery, and invoicing.

· Support testing, cutover, and post-go-live stabilization, resolving data issues quickly and at the root cause.

Data Quality & Maintenance

· Manage the day-to-day creation and/or oversight and maintenance of master data records, ensuring requests are complete, accurate, and processed promptly.

· Build and monitor data quality metrics and routine audits to identify duplicates, gaps, and errors, and drive corrective action.

· Maintain the controls and audit trail needed to support financial reporting, compliance, and audit requirements.

Cross-functional Partnership & Enablement

· Work closely with Finance, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to understand their data needs and translate them into practical, scalable standards.

· Train and support users on data entry standards and system processes, building data ownership and discipline across the business.

· Enable reliable reporting and analytics for leadership, and identify opportunities to simplify and automate data processes as PDM grows.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, or a related field

· 5+ years of experience in master data management, data governance, or ERP data administration, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment

· Experience collaborating across integrated CRM, ERP, and marketing automation platforms, including data mapping, synchronization, validation, and cross-system data governance. Familiarity with HubSpot and Microsoft Dynamics integrations preferred.

· Hands-on experience with at least one full ERP implementation or migration, including data cleansing, mapping, and validation

· Strong working knowledge of item, BOM, customer, vendor, and pricing master data and how each drives order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and production processes

· Advanced Excel skills; proficiency with Power Query, SQL, or Power BI

· Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to build structure and process where little exists today

· Strong communicator with the ability to influence without authority and translate data requirements for business audiences

Nice to Have

· Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM and ERP), HubSpot, and the Microsoft Power Platform

· Experience in electrical equipment, engineered-to-order, or capital equipment manufacturing

· Data management or supply chain certification (e.g., CDMP, CPIM), * What industries have you worked in while in the Master Data Management role?

  • Have you played a hands-on role in at least one full ERP implementation or migration, including data cleansing, mapping, validation, and migration?
  • Do you have hands-on experience managing master data across integrated ERP, CRM, and/or marketing automation platforms?
  • Do you have experience managing customer, vendor, item, bill of materials (BOM), and pricing master data in a manufacturing or industrial environment?

Experience:
