WordPress Developer

MMB Atlanta LLC is identifying qualified WordPress Developers for a potential government website development and support project serving a regional public-sector organization in metropolitan Atlanta.

The selected professional would provide WordPress website development, maintenance, troubleshooting, accessibility improvements, and technical support as project assignments become available., * Develop, maintain, and enhance WordPress websites.

• Troubleshoot website functionality, themes, plugins, and technical issues.
• Implement website updates, improvements, and new features.
• Support website accessibility improvements, including WCAG-related remediation.
• Monitor website performance, security, compatibility, and functionality.
• Coordinate with project managers, content teams, and stakeholders.
• Test website changes and document completed work.
• Provide technical recommendations and support as requested.

• Three or more years of professional WordPress development experience.
• Experience with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WordPress themes and plugins.
• Knowledge of website accessibility and responsive design.
• Experience troubleshooting website performance and security issues.
• Familiarity with website hosting, backups, staging environments, and updates.
• Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting government or public-sector websites is a plus.

This is an anticipated, project-based position for workforce planning purposes and is not currently a funded vacancy.

Employment is contingent upon MMB Atlanta LLC receiving a government contract award, confirming funding and staffing requirements, and approving the position.

Work assignments and weekly hours may vary. Remote or hybrid arrangements are subject to final project requirements. Compensation is subject to budget review and approval.
