Senior Design Engineer

In this role, you’ll work hands-on with product design, testing, manufacturing, and problem solving while leading projects from concept through production. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll solve complex engineering challenges and deliver solutions that improve performance, quality, reliability, and customer value.

Product Development

• Design and improve products to enhance performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
• Lead product development projects from concept through production launch.
• Apply engineering analysis and participate in design reviews, DFM/DFA, and value engineering activities.

Continuous Improvement

• Drive initiatives focused on quality, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
• Support manufacturing by resolving technical challenges and implementing product enhancements.
• Develop new processes, tools, and methodologies that support business growth.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Partner with cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver innovative solutions.
• Lead projects, manage priorities, and drive successful execution.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution

• Two (2) years of experience designing mechanical or electromechanical systems.
• Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. • Knowledge of FEA, strength of materials, and mechanical design analysis.
• Familiarity with materials, welding processes, and manufacturing methods.
• Experience with structured problem-solving, quality tools, and root cause analysis.
• Understanding of DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, Lean, Six Sigma, or Design for Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency with CAD software and Minitab.
• Experience leading projects and collaborating across cross-functional teams.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.
