Software Engineer (C++ or Java)

A client in Huntsville is building a team of Software Engineers. You’re part of an Agile/Scrum team developing software for the air-defense system. You’re picking up stories from the sprint, writing or modifying code, integrating it with the rest of the system, testing it in software/hardware integration environments, troubleshooting failures, and working with systems and test engineers to make sure the software meets requirements. It’s much more embedded defense-system development and integration than traditional web or application development. This means that GUI, mobile, app dev, cloud, database backend are not our correct fit as we are not building stand alone apps or webpages. We are getting software to interface correctly with other components and system-level functionality.

1+ years of software engineering experience C++, will consider Java Bachelors Degree Eligible for a Secret Clearance Python Agile/SAFe Weapons system development
