Senior Security IDaaS Engineer - Remote / Telecommute

Our client is seeking a Security IDaaS Engineer to use technology to improve, streamline, and automate information technology systems and services. The candidate will join a team of engineers to support activities such as developing and maintaining security posture, rules, and controls to protect organizational information assets. This role involves configuring application integrations, creating IAM objects, working incidents, and supporting secure authentication, authorization, IDaaS, and API services., The Security IDaaS Engineer uses technology to improve, streamline, and automate information technology systems and services. The candidate will join a team of engineers to support activities such as developing and maintaining the security posture of rules, controls, and safeguards to protect information assets, as well as conducting reviews. ), addressing incidents, following change management processes, and creating technical documentation. The candidate will collaborate with the team to understand secure authentication, authorization, IDaaS, and API services to reduce manual processes and accelerate time to market. This position assists in designing and developing code required to build and maintain Access Management Services, helping improve Change Management (CM) practices, and enabling rapid recovery from ransomware or other critical incidents. Additional duties include knowledge sharing, enabling team members with technical skills, and continuously seeking process improvement opportunities. The role requires strong business and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize work within a team setting.

• Demonstrated expertise in Identity as a Service (IDaaS).
• Strong understanding of OAuth protocols.
• Experience with Identity Management (IDM) and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA).
• Proficiency with SAML authentication.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Scripting experience using tools like Postman and PowerShell.
• Hands-on experience with Okta.
• Experience working within an Agile development environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of security frameworks including NIST, FedRAMP, and CSF.
• Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Experience with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Proficiency with REST APIs.
• Understanding of networking and IT infrastructure principles.
• Scripting experience with Python.
• Experience with Saviynt identity solutions., * Bachelor’s Degree, equivalent experience, or Master’s Degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to work extended hours as required.
• Occasional travel, including overnight stays, may be necessary.
