Job description

  • Perform installation, commissioning, and integration of LTE and 5G RAN equipment.
  • Configure and integrate Baseband Units (BBUs), Remote Radio Units (RRUs), and antenna systems.
  • Execute site turn-ups, software loading, parameter verification, and alarm clearance.
  • Perform troubleshooting of RAN, fiber, transport, and backhaul issues.
  • Conduct site acceptance testing and network validation activities.
  • Support new site builds, carrier adds, technology upgrades, and modernization projects.
  • Coordinate with RF, transport, construction, and project management teams.
  • Verify proper operation of LTE and 5G services through call testing and performance validation.
  • Create and maintain integration reports, MOPs, and closeout documentation.
  • Ensure all work is completed according to customer standards and safety requirements.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Wireless network deployment projects?, Volks Resources is seeking a skilled RAN Field Integration Engineer to support the deployment, integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting of LTE and 5G wireless network infrastructure throughout Northern California. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Ericsson and/or Nokia RAN equipment, site integration activities, and field testing in live network environments.

Required Certifications

  • OSHA 10
  • CPR
  • RF Awareness
  • Blood Bourne Pathogen, * 3+ years of hands-on wireless integration experience.
  • Experience with Ericsson and/or Nokia LTE and 5G RAN technologies.
  • Strong understanding of wireless network architecture and RAN concepts.
  • Experience with:
  • Ericsson BB5216, BB6630, BB6648, AIR radios, RRU equipment, or equivalent.
  • Nokia AirScale, Flexi, BBU, and RRU platforms.
  • Knowledge of LTE, NR (5G), RF fundamentals, and site commissioning processes.
  • Experience troubleshooting fiber, transport, and backhaul connectivity issues.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and integration documentation.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
