Job description

A day in the life of a Technical Support Engineer III at HSO:

  • Assist leadership in resource management as well as project resources.
  • Become backup for the Information Technology Director regarding vendor management, support, and escalation.
  • Review metrics and tools to proactively monitor hardware, application, and system performance, push alerts, and to provide daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required. Monitor system elements provided by external vendors.
  • Manage internal network infrastructure including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows support?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High School Diploma and Specialized training required

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience required
  • At least 2 certifications: Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network +, CompTIA Security +, CompTIA A+, AWS or Azure Cloud Computing Certifications (Level 2 or above), Nextgen or EHR of choice
  • Experience providing technical customer support, vendor or project team management
  • Must have in-depth knowledge for maintaining a Windows Enterprise network environment, telepathy and LAN configurations
  • Must have extensive experience supporting an enterprise environment with Azure integration
  • Must have experience in managing and maintaining a Windows/VMWare infrastructure
  • Must have experience with managing all active directory and group policy
  • Must have experience in a leadership role, team or group lead
  • Must have project management experience, concept to implementation with outside resource or team members
  • Must be able to work with non-technical team members and communicate effectively outside the IT arena
  • Must have experience in managing network security elements within the confines of regulatory or leadership direction
  • Must be team oriented, willing to support each other and share experience
  • Must have experience working with or managing vendors including support and change control
  • VMWare or other virtual infrastructure support a plus
  • Healthcare IT a plus
