Compensation: Up to £170,000 + equity

We’re working with a frontier AI-driven biology lab on a mission to redefine how science is done. Their research and engineering teams are building next-generation tools that help scientists visualise, understand, and design biology at an unprecedented scale.

As a Front End Engineer , you’ll craft the visual layer of this transformation, designing interfaces that turn vast, complex biological data into intuitive, beautiful experiences. Your work will sit at the intersection of AI, design, and discovery , directly accelerating breakthroughs in life sciences.

What you’ll do Build responsive, high-performance web UIs that make complex scientific data explorable and engaging. Lead frontend architecture, shaping reusable component libraries and design systems. Collaborate with machine learning researchers, engineers, and biologists to translate cutting-edge science into intuitive digital tools. Push the limits of frontend performance, accessibility, and interactivity. Write and maintain comprehensive unit and end-to-end tests to ensure reliability at scale.
