Azure DevOps Engineer

• Optimise and streamline CI/CD pipelines to improve software delivery speed and quality
• Maintain and enhance Microsoft Azure and on-premises environments
• Implement monitoring, alerting and logging to maintain performance and minimise disruption
• Integrate security best practices and support ISO and compliance requirements
• Develop scripts and tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks
• Collaborate with Development and IT Support to resolve issues and improve application delivery
• Handle incidents and service requests in line with ITIL practices
• Promote DevOps, DevSecOps and GitOps to enhance security, performance and reliability
• Take ownership of technical initiatives that improve software delivery, infrastructure and platform reliability

• At least three years experience as a DevOps Engineer
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps and modern deployment practices
• Understanding of Microsoft infrastructure, networking, system administration and security best practices
• Experience with Bash, Python or PowerShell
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and adopting Agile and DevOps practices
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, documentation and organisational skills
• Eligibility to obtain UK security clearance
• Desirable: experience in regulated environments and Microsoft-based infrastructure
• Desirable: relevant degree or equivalent experience, cloud or DevOps certifications, and a full UK driving licence
