Secret Traveling Network Engineer

Insight Global is seeking a Traveling Network Engineer. This individual will play a key role in surveying, designing, deploying, and certifying secure network infrastructure across government facilities worldwide. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with classified network environments, structured cabling, Government standards, and TEMPEST-compliant installations. This role offers the opportunity to lead large-scale network migration and modernization efforts, work with advanced networking technologies, and travel extensively throughout CONUS and OCONUS locations while supporting. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Active Secret Clearance Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience (additional experience may substitute for degree) CompTIA Security+ Certification Strong understanding of ANSI/TIA-568 and ANSI/TIA-569 standards Experience with Protective Distribution Systems (PDS) for classified environments Knowledge of NTISSI 7003 standards Knowledge of DISA network topologies and standards Experience creating topology diagrams and rack elevations using Microsoft Visio Experience using OTDRs, cable testers, and network sniffers Ability to develop infrastructure certification and testing documentation
