Cloud DevOps Engineer 2 Location: Washington, DC Job Type: Hybrid 2 in office 3 days remote Description: Our client seeks a Cloud DevOps Engineer 2 to lead the enterprise migration of Atlassian Jira and other enterprise applications to AWS. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring system reliability and security. Responsibilities: * Lead the migration of enterprise applications to AWS

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools
• Manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering
• Proven experience with AWS cloud platform
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills Preferred Qualifications: * Experience with Atlassian Jira and other Atlassian tools
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch
• Experience with security best practices and compliance standards
