Mainframe Developer - Composite Reservoir Accounts

Enhance existing COBOL and Natural applications to support new pooled-account processing within a production z/OS platform. Design account structures, participant relationships, sweep processing, allocations, interest calculations, and balance logic. Modify COBOL programs and JCL while integrating new processing into nightly and month-end batch cycles. Implement audit trails, exception reporting, reconciliation controls, and accounting traceability for new functionality. Build unit and regression tests, perform parallel production comparisons, and investigate processing discrepancies. Support deployment, data conversion, production stabilization, and updates to technical documentation and runbooks. 5 years or more of experience in Enterprise COBOL and NaturalOne development within IBM z/OS mainframe environments. Proficiency in Natural, Adabas, JCL, VSAM, TSO/ISPF, batch processing, and production support. Experience with financial systems involving double-entry posting, accruals, reconciliation, value dating, and month-end processing. Experience with copybooks, call chains, job streams, GDGs, PROCs, SORT, restart/rerun processing, and legacy code analysis. Experience with CA-7, REXX, Python, Java, IBM MQ, z/OS Connect, REST services, account pooling, or cash management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
