Software Architect

The project involves developing, maintaining, and supporting complex, multi-tier web applications using ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core MVC, C#, Oracle, and related technologies. The role includes full SDLC participation, application integration, database development, production support, and coordination of application releases and changes. Responsibilities: Execute the full software development life cycle (SDLC). Develop and maintain applications using Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 or higher, MVC architecture, .NET, JavaScript, JSON, Ajax, HTML, XML, DLLs, and WCF. Create and modify Oracle tables, indexes, constraints, triggers, and views; develop stored procedures and packages; and convert or migrate data as needed. Diagnose and troubleshoot application rules, calculations, and data issues in reports using Crystal Reports. Mentor and assist state and consultant programmers with debugging, troubleshooting, application security and deployment, data access, data communications, and system architecture. Use a source code repository such as Tortoise SVN, Visual SVN, TFS, or Git to check in and out code and manage branches and versions. Use the IT Service Management System to handle application incidents and service requests, and to request services from other IT groups. Coordinate application service requests, releases, and changes with IT Chief Operating Office personnel. Diagnose and debug production issues reported through ITSM, escalate critical calls as necessary, and participate in bridge calls. Required/Preferred Skills: 84 months of experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop complex, multi-tier web applications with the ASP.NET MVC framework. 84 months of experience developing and maintaining web applications using HTML5, Ajax, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and CSS. 84 months of experience developing and maintaining web applications using C# and modern programming principles, including object-oriented design, scalability, maintainability, single responsibility, and application security. 84 months of experience with Oracle database design and modeling, PL/SQL coding and debugging, stored procedures, packages, indexes, triggers, and table creation; experience using tools to write and test SQL and manipulate data. 84 months of experience with SOA application integration, including secure .NET web services using WCF, SOAP/REST APIs, message and queue processing, and/or an Enterprise Service Bus. 36 months of experience with the ASP.NET Core MVC framework. 48 months of experience interpreting Visual Basic 6 (VB6) code and structure. 60 months of experience with automated unit testing and using Git and Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010 or later for development and code repositories. 60 months of experience interpreting and analyzing complex business requirements, extracting core use cases, and implementing application logic to meet those requirements. 48 months of experience coding and maintaining applications containing healthcare data protected under HIPAA (PHI).
