Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Government

You’ll own model serving, retrieval pipelines, and evaluations, bringing advanced AI capabilities into Azure Government within an IL5 boundary., * 5+ years of machine learning or applied AI experience, including ownership of models serving production traffic

• At least 1 year building in a U.S. government IL5 environment, with hands-on experience deploying ML or LLM systems at IL5 or above
• Deep experience with Azure OpenAI or similar hosted models, RAG, vector search, and model evaluations
• Hands-on ownership of model serving, versioning, fine-tuning, data privacy controls, and audit logging
• Strong experience with Azure-based AI platforms; AWS and GCP experience is a plus
• Experience taking a product or model from concept to production at a venture-backed startup or large technology company
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a STEM-related field
• U.S. citizenship required
• Ability to work onsite 5 days per week in Los Altos or our client’s San Francisco office, occasional travel to DC

• Compensation: Up to $275K base salary, plus full benefits, perks, and strong equity
