Software Developer - Banking

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise-grade banking applications across backend and frontend components.
• Build services and APIs with Java and Spring Boot and create modern user interfaces with React, JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Contribute to cloud-native architectures, microservices and application-modernisation initiatives.
• Apply automated testing, clean-code principles and CI/CD practices to strengthen software quality.
• Work in an agile, interdisciplinary team with business analysis, architecture, product ownership and quality assurance.
• Support solutions from requirements and design through implementation, deployment and ongoing improvement.

• Professional experience in software development and sound knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with React, JavaScript or TypeScript and with REST APIs, microservices and relational databases.
• Familiarity with at least one cloud platform such as Microsoft Azure, AWS or Google Cloud; Docker, Kubernetes or CI/CD experience is welcome.
• A structured and collaborative way of working, with an interest in high-quality, maintainable software.
• Experience in banking or financial services, event-driven architectures or Kafka is an advantage, not a requirement.
• Fluent English; German is an advantage.

Your individual performance and experience are reflected in your compensation. The monthly gross salary for this position starts at EUR 4,000. Depending on your qualifications and professional experience, we are happy to offer a higher salary.
