Data Analyst

This Is What Your Role Looks Like

You’ll join the central Data Platform Team as the Data Analyst for our central, cross-functional reports and for teams that don’t have an analyst of their own. You’ll work directly with the business, from the first question to a clear, finished report that people actually use. Over time, you’ll help teams take ownership of their own reports.

In a typical week, you might:

• own and maintain central reports that are not tied to a single team

• build and maintain reporting for teams without a dedicated analyst

• investigate data questions and ad-hoc requests from across the business

• tell the story behind the numbers and present insights in a way that supports better decisions

• apply data visualisation best practices and standards to keep reports clear and consistent

• work with Data Platform Engineers to get the right data in place in Databricks for your reports

• improve existing reports on clarity, performance and usability

• automate recurring reports and enable self-service

• use AI to speed up your analysis and reporting work

The team you’ll work with

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary Data Platform Team with:

• Data Platform Engineers

• Analysts

• BI Developers

• Data Scientists

Together, you support almost every department at Basic-Fit, enabling teams to act on reliable, well-governed data.

You’re curious, structured, and good at understanding what stakeholders really need. You can turn complex data into a clear story. You don’t need to tick every box. You will thrive here if most of this sounds familiar:

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst

• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including building reports, DAX and data modelling basics

• Strong SQL skills to explore, validate and understand data

• Strong data visualisation skills and a good feel for design standards: you turn complex data into clear, consistent, actionable dashboards that follow best practices

• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and translating their needs into reports

• Flexibility to quickly get up to speed in different business areas, as you’ll support a variety of teams

• A mindset of enabling others: you like to document, automate and hand over

• Attention to detail and data quality: you validate your numbers and spot inconsistencies

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Experience with Databricks, Python or Fabric is a plus

• Experience using AI tools to speed up analysis and reporting is a plus
