Apache Kafka Restful APIs Terraform Data Pipelines Docker Microservices

Job description

Develop and maintain cloud-based applications using Java and Node.js.
Design and build REST APIs and microservices.
Implement event-driven solutions using Kafka.
Build and manage Docker containers and AWS cloud services.
Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
Build and maintain automated GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
Apply TDD, BDD and secure software engineering practices.
Contribute to Agile delivery, code reviews, troubleshooting and production support.

Requirements

Strong recent hands-on Java development experience.
Practical AWS cloud development experience.
Node.js, REST APIs and microservices architecture.
Kafka and event-driven architecture.
Docker and Terraform.
GitLab CI/CD pipeline development.
TDD, BDD and Agile methodologies.
Knowledge of secure coding, vulnerability management and deployment strategies.

Additional Requirement: Candidates must have access to a secure engineering MacBook as required for the assignment.
