Job description

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Network Administrator and support the Network Administration organization, within the Infrastructure Services organization at the facility’s Headquarters in Portland, OR, Vancouver, WA or field location. This position will provide support for the facility’s networking connectivity in an Internet/intranet environment. The position supports high performing infrastructure on various network components such as cable plants, patch panels, routers, and switches by installing, configuring, and troubleshooting using provided tools.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driver’s License license?, Do you have experience in Cisco routers/switches implementation?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, A bachelor’s degree in network administration, computer technology, information technology (or closely related field) is preferred. 3 years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor’s degree. 5 years of experience is required without a degree or applicable degree. Experience should be in the computer technology or related technical field. 3 years of experience in IP networks supporting a large client pool environment. 1 year of experience with Cisco products and IOS. Valid U.S. Driver’s License or Real ID is required.

Preferred Skills:

NIST and FIPS experience in applying security controls.

Minimum Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent experience.

Knowledge of/Experience with:

Unix operating systems.

LAN and WAN development principles and methods, including sub-nets, gateways, and firewalls.

Remote access technology principles and concepts

Wireless concepts and fundamentals.

Configuration or change management concepts.

Supporting additional network protocols BGP, OSPF etc.

Network components, operation and maintenance concepts and methods.

Network architecture principles, security principles, and concepts.
