Junior Java Software Engineer [$226k/yr+] S

• Develop Java-based software capabilities, RESTful APIs, and microservices on Linux platforms using Spring.
• Leverage autonomous agentic AI tools to implement features, perform refactoring, and automate test generation.
• Collaborate within an Agile development workflow to deliver robust and scalable software solutions., * Design, develop, and deploy Java-based software solutions and enterprise RESTful web services.
• Build and maintain microservices utilizing modern frameworks including Spring.
• Integrate advanced agentic AI workflows to facilitate multi-file implementation, codebase refactoring, and test generation.
• Work extensively within Linux operating system environments and use configuration management tools including Git, Maven, and Nexus.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development ceremonies and collaborate using tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and audit software for performance, architectural alignment, and security.

Telework: This position supports a hybrid work arrangement requiring an average of one to two days per week on-site in Columbia, MD.
