Job description
We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Node.js / PostgreSQL / WordPress) to take over and finalize a partially built logistics platform.
The site is built on WordPress/Elementor (hosted on Cloudways) with a custom Node.js and PostgreSQL backend architecture. The visual frontend is mostly complete, but we need an experienced engineer to audit the existing codebase, complete broken backend flows, and finalize integrations with Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS notifications), and Shipday (dispatch software).
Requirements
RESTful APINode.jsPostgreSQLWordPress, * 5+ years of experience with Node.js, PostgreSQL, and RESTful API development.
- Solid experience working with WordPress environments and custom API endpoints.
- Proven experience inheriting and auditing existing codebases under tight deadlines.
- Hands-on experience integrating third-party APIs (Stripe, Twilio, Shipday or similar dispatch systems).
- Immediate availability to take over code execution and deploy to production., Primary Skills: Node.js, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, WordPress, Express.js Secondary Skills: Stripe API, Twilio API, Cloudways / Server Management Project Scope: Codebase takeover, bug fixing, API integration, deployment & launch
