Cloud Engineer

The ideal candidate will design, implement, maintain, and optimize secure, scalable, and resilient AWS infrastructure. This role requires a strong understanding of AWS architecture, hybrid connectivity, identity and access management, infrastructure automation, monitoring, and governance., n \n

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure using AWS-native services and Infrastructure as Code. \n

• Manage AWS compute and storage services, including EC2, S3, EBS, and load balancing. \n

• Configure and maintain AWS networking, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPNs, and hybrid connectivity. \n

• Implement cloud governance and security controls using AWS Organizations, Control Tower, IAM, Security Hub, and GuardDuty. \n

• Develop and maintain Terraform configurations and automated infrastructure deployment workflows. \n

• Manage Git-based source control, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure deployment processes. \n

• Use AWS CLI, Python, and/or PowerShell to automate infrastructure provisioning, administration, and operational tasks. \n

• Monitor cloud environments using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, Systems Manager, and AWS Backup. \n

• Implement identity and access management solutions, including SSO, federation, cross-account access, and multifactor authentication. \n

• Apply AWS Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework principles to support secure, resilient, and cost-effective cloud environments. \n

• Support cloud landing zones, infrastructure resilience, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and cost management. \n

• Maintain infrastructure documentation, operational procedures, and security best practices. \n

• 7-10+ years of relevant professional experience in cloud engineering, cloud infrastructure, or related IT disciplines. \n

• Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and architecture. \n

• Experience with AWS compute, storage, networking, security, and governance services. \n

• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code. \n

• Experience with DevOps practices, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation. \n

• Proficiency with AWS CLI and scripting using Python and/or PowerShell. \n

• Strong understanding of AWS networking, including VPCs, Transit Gateway, Route 53, VPN, Direct Connect, and hybrid connectivity. \n

• Experience implementing AWS IAM, SSO/federation, cross-account access, and MFA. \n

• Familiarity with AWS monitoring, logging, backup, and operational management tools. \n

• Understanding of cloud security, governance, resiliency, and cost optimization. \n

• High school diploma or equivalent. \n, * Experience with Microsoft Azure.
